it’s true.  Bob & I were in a Best Buy the other night and as I wondered the store looking at my favorite tech toys (I’m like a kid in a candy store), we stumbled across a working demo of an i-Phone.

iphone_homeYes, I know, they’ve been around for a couple of years now and I have been just waiting for my chance to own one.  Luckily, my Blackberry Pearl lost a key coming home from Indianapolis and I wrote to at&t to find out what I could do to fix it.  They wrote back and offered me an i-Phone upgrade, should I wish to take up the offer. My chance to own a ‘bright & shiny’? Duh.

So, for fun, I posted a poll on Facebook to see who would win.  i-Phone.  Already knowing where I would be in my decision, I decided to take the plunge and buy one.

It’s nice and new, bright and shiny, Captain and I have spent hours exploring the apps. My hubby is jealous.  He’s not eligible until August.  I am now sync’d with i-Tunes and can see where the love of a Mac would be.  But, I’m a PC girl at heart, or at least my investment in extensive software keeps me there.  So this is most likely the closest I will get in the Apple world.iphone_piano_iano

My apps so far:

  • Facebook

So many more to explore – do you have a favorite to share?
