Question: I noticed on your calendar that you perform with The Rose Ensemble alot - who are they?

Lisa: The Rose Ensemble is a daring and inventive vocal ensemble captivating audiences with virtuosic performances of ancient music and evoking a rich tapestry of language, culture, legends and history.

Founded in 1996 by Artistic Director and Founder, Jordan Sramek , The Rose Ensemble is an internationally recognized group of musicians that has reinvented early vocal music in the modern concert hall, building a diverse and enthusiastic audience.

By blending Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music with folk music and captivating stories, The Rose Ensemble’s dramatic and entertaining concerts explore history, folklore, world cultures and religions. Singing a cappella or playing a variety of fascinating instruments, The Rose Ensemble has received widespread critical acclaim for both its preservation of ancient music and its dynamic and creative approach to programming this music for today’s audiences.
