Art-A-Whirl, NE Minneapolis
Wow, even more great news… I am going to be featured in the NE Minneapolis Art-a-Whirl this Spring! If you’ve never attended any of the shows, I must encourage you to come out. This is an extraordinary art event and massive. My husband and I have been going for years and still haven’t covered all the galleries yet. Friday nights are a blast with the opening receptions and party atmosphere.
I will be one of 15 artists showing works at Castle Building & Remodeling in their studio space at 2600 Johnson Avenue May 16th-18th.
During May’s Art-A-Whirl open-studio and gallery tour, Castle Building & Remodeling will host 15 truly unique artists who work in mediums that range from photography, sculpture, clay, iron, oil, tile, etchings, and stained glass. Many artists have chosen to donate a piece of art to be auctioned off in a silent auction. A portion of proceeds from the auction will be donated to Rebuilding Together Twin Cities.
Art-A-Whirl Dates:
- Friday, May 16th
5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Opening reception
(I will definitely be there all evening!) - Saturday, May 17th
12:00 to 8:00 p.m. - Sunday, May 18th
12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
